All of our Galgos come from Fundacion Benjamin Mehnert near Seville, Spain. They are tested for tick-borne diseases and for leishmania and are current on vaccines prior to transport. They are fostered here in the us for a minimum of 2 weeks. Our passion is to find them each the best home/family we can! We hope you will love them like we do.

Juaqui is a beautiful cinnamon-colored Galgo, sociable and cheerful with everyone. He relates very well to people, showing himself to be a loving dog who enjoys contact. He also knows how to get along with other dogs, living peacefully with them without any problems. He walks perfectly on a leash but is not suitable for living with cats. Juaqui is the perfect dog, suitable for any family that loves dogs, and enjoys outdoor activities and long walks in nature or who is looking for a dog to accompany them in their daily activities as he has no problem adapting to different types of environments.

HUGO

Hugo is a sociable and affectionate boy who greatly enjoys contact with people, seeking petting all day long. He interacts with other dogs in a calm and peaceful manner and has no issues living with them. He can also live with cats as he has proven to be stable and respectful towards them. New environments and new people do not make him feel insecure or scared and he adapts perfectly to any situation, walking calmly on a leash beside the person guiding him. He is practically the perfect dog, waiting for his chance to give all his love to his future family.

This petite little girl is confident and outgoing! She walks well on leash and loves to check things out. Nandi is about 6 yrs old. This beautiful boy is about 6 yrs old and probably has more greyhound in him than Galgo, but we couldn’t resist bringing him to LHB. He is “bomb proof”! nothing bothers him, well except cats (no cats for him). He does well with other dogs. He walks well on leash, but can be very strong due to his size and muscle. He is very affectionate!

Fali is an amazing boy. He is about 4 ½ years old and has been waiting for his forever home here in the U.S. for over a year. He is fearful of loud noises and new people but once he gets to know you, he shows how much love is in his heart! Fali will need another confident dog to show him everything is good.
